What is a Jet Card?
A Surf On Demand Jet Card is a prepaid block of flight hours that gives you guaranteed access to private aircraft at fixed, competitive hourly rates. No surprises, no guesswork. It simplifies the volatility of traditional charter pricing while giving you the freedom to fly as you please.
What tiers are available and how are they priced?
We offer three tiers. The Silver tier includes 10 hours starting at $58,500 with access to Turboprop and Very Light Jets. The Gold tier includes 25 hours starting at $146,250 with access to Turboprop through Super Midsize jets. The Platinum tier includes 50 hours starting at $292,500 with access to Turboprop through Ultra Long Range jets.
What aircraft categories are available and what are the hourly rates?
Rates are fixed per aircraft category. Turboprops are fixed at $5,850/hr with a 1.0 hour flight minimum. Very Light Jets are fixed at $7,250/hr with a 1.25 hour minimum. Light Jets are fixed at $8,700/hr with a 1.25 hour minimum. Midsize Jets are fixed at $9,350/hr with a 1.75 hour minimum. Super Midsize Jets are fixed at $11,875/hr with a 2.0 hour minimum. Heavy Jets are fixed at $15,400/hr with a 2.0 hour minimum. Ultra Long Range jets are fixed at $17,300/hr with a 2.0 hour minimum.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It depends on your tier. Silver members require 48 hours advance notice. Gold members require 24 hours. Platinum members can book with as little as 6 hours notice.
Are there any repositioning fees?
No. You pay only for actual flight time with no repositioning fees.
Does the hourly rate include fuel?
Yes, hourly rates currently include fuel. However, Surf On Demand reserves the right to apply a fuel surcharge if fuel costs increase by more than 10% from the time of purchase, based on the U.S. Gulf Coast Jet-A Fuel Spot Price as published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Are there additional taxes or fees?
Federal Excise Tax (FET) and segment fees are not included in hourly rates and will be deducted from your account balance when applicable. An international surcharge of up to 15% may apply for trips to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. Territories.
How is flight time billed?
Flight time is billed in six-minute (0.1 hour) increments, with a minimum charge per flight segment as specified by aircraft category.
Can I fly internationally?
Yes, international flights are available subject to permit and slot availability. A 72-hour call-out period may apply for all international trips.
What happens if I need to cancel a flight?
If you cancel 48 or more hours before departure, you will receive a 100% refund in flight credit. Cancellations inside 48 hours are non-refundable.
How long are my funds valid?
Funds are valid for 24 months from purchase.
Does the Jet Card holder need to be on every flight?
Yes, the named Jet Card holder must be onboard each flight. Authorized flyers may be designated upon request.
Is catering included?
Complimentary catering is available for Platinum members at $100 per passenger per flight toward premium catering.
